Flora / Fauna

Father and daughter duo, draftsman – inventor Harry and artist – curator Amanda are inspired by life on the 4th generation Alderson-Bude family homestead. Each object – from feathers, leaves to pods – found on the homestead in the Perth Foothills, have been selected for their beauty. Alchemically plated in copper, they are encapsulated to enhance their natural form.

A selection of Flora / Fauna have been included in the Curious and Rare Articles body of artwork.

Flora / Fauna has been made in collaboration with Harry Alderson.

Displayed during a Mundaring Arts Centre arts residency.  Exhibited in 2016 in Tied up with String, Mundaring Arts Centre, and in PCWK at Nyisztor Studio. In various private collections.
