Folkloric tales, fated discovery voyages, Western Australia\u2019s unique flora and fauna, and methods\/symbols of protection – inspire all facets of my work. My artwork, wearable objects and jewellery draws directly on my research and background in cultural heritage and contemporary arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have worked in the visual arts industry for over 25 years, as a curator, gallery manager, collection manager and academic. I studied sculpture at the School of Art, Curtin University of Technology and interdisciplinary studies at the Western Australian School of Art, Design and Media; and am undertaking a Diploma in Silver Jewellery at the Jewellers Academy, London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a practising artist, I have exhibited across Western Australia, including the Biennale of Electronic Arts, Perth 2002 (BEAP02), John Curtin Gallery, Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA), Bandung Gallery, Indonesia, Ellenbrook Arts, Gomboc Sculpture Gallery, Bunbury Regional Art Gallery, Turner Galleries, the Moores Contemporary Arts Building, Mundaring Arts Centre, Nyisztor Studio, Depot II Gallery and the Bakery Artrage Arts Complex.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
