Curation

My curatorial projects flirt across the disciplines of contemporary art, local history and the narrative.

As a curator and producer, over the past 20 plus years, I have curated solo and group exhibitions, managed exhibitions within Perth, the regions, nationally and internationally, including touring exhibitions; in excess of 280 shows. I have managed three large institutional collections (contemporary art, public art and heritage) worth in excess of $40 million.

Exhibitions predominately focus on contemporary, hybrid and emergent media, history, and social discourse, and have often been held in untraditional art spaces.

As the Gallery Curator of the City of Wanneroo Gallery,  I curated, developed and delivered the exhibition program, with a focus on the frontier history of Wanneroo. Previously, as the Exhibition Coordinator at the John Curtin Gallery, my role encompassed the Great Southern touring program of the Carrolup Artworks. I also produce and curate independent exhibitions, most recently as part of the Indian Ocean Craft Triennial festival event. See my CV for the arts organisations and galleries I have worked for.
